Crazy Week.
All I can say about this past week is... WOW. It has just been one of those weeks. Unfortunately it didn't start out so well and I had to make some big decisions about a "friendship" I had, but I will not go into detail on that on a public blog. On the plus side though I did gain a great friend who was just an acquaintance before, but after much talking we realized we had a lot more in common. And, my promise to myself is to not get caught up in everything around me and to put more into staying in touch with friends.
Alex got his first tooth yesterday. And this makes me a very proud mommy. I am probably more happy that now I know what was causing the horrible diaper rash he has had for the past few days and also why he had a dirty diaper at every diaper change.
Today, I am taking Alex to a baby animal petting zoo. YAY! I am so excited about this because I looove animals. I love that with having Alex I now have the best excuse to go places and do things I love without looking weird. For example going to petting zoos, the circus (which should be coming up), state zoos, etc.
And I promise to post some pics after we get back today.

Just Waiting...
Why is it when you are waiting for something it seems to take forever to get here. Needless to say I order a new phone yesterday and now I am waiting for it to get here. I ordered the Black Berry Storm and got free next day shipping so it will be here today...yay! The thing that sucks is that I have to be home to sign for it. So normally if I needed to blow time waiting for something to come I go shopping because that always takes my mind off of things for a little. But not today. No, I have to sit at home and wait. Thank goodness I have my little boy here to keep me distracted.

My little boy is getting so big.
I can't believe how time flies. It seems like just yesterday when I was still pregnant. Instead, I have a 7 month old little boy named Alex. He has given me so much love and excitement about new chapters in my life that he doesn't even know or can even begin to understand. I remember when I was pregnant, people would say, "your life will never be the same." They were definitely right about that and truth be told, I wouldn't trade it for anything. I love my life as a mommy and I look forward to every step of the way, every scrape on the knee and every bruise on the arm.

Dieting
So I started this new low carb diet on Tuesday. It started out a little ruff, I felt like I was always hungry, but now it is getting much better. I actually feel full after I eat and I found some great low carb snacks that I can pick at between meals. Snacking is very good for me when I am at work. Since I have a desk job and get bored easily I tend to want to eat more.
Oh well, I am just determined to make this work. I don't consider myself over-weight or "fat" but since having my son SEVEN months ago, I just don't feel like myself and I have a little pudge left over. My real goal with this diet is to just lose my "love handels" and to get my energy back. The great thing is that my best friend is also doing the diet with me, so it is nice to have her readily available for support.
Just wish me luck through this!

New To This
I am new to this blogging thing. I have ready many blogs, just never put on together myself. The reason I am starting this blog is because my life is crazy right now. I have so much going on in life that I think if I "write" down my feelings and thoughts it will help me feel better. So here it goes...
